The Echuca Moama Multi Sports weekend includes the following three events: Echuca-Moama Junior Duathlon; Echuca-Moama Sprint Triathlon; and Wharf to Winery Swim. The weekend kicks off on Saturday morning with a Junior Duathlon in Moama. The Morley Auto Group Triathlon kicks off at 6:00pm Saturday evening in the historic Port of Echuca area with participants starting with a 700 metres swim down the Murray River, followed by a 20 kilometre bike ride and finishing with a 5 kilometre run. EMTC will also host a Wharf to Winery Swim on Sunday morning where participants will swim from the Echuca Wharf down stream to Morrisons Winery. Moama Bowling Club Junior Duathlon
Part of the Echuca Moama Multi Sports weekend, the Junior Duathlon kicks off at 9.00am on Saturday 21st January, with race day check in from 8.00am at Moama Recreation Reserve. Ages 7 to 10 will participate in a 100m run, 3km bike ride and a 400m run. Ages 11 to 14 will participate in a 200m run, 6km bike ride and a 800m run. Morley Auto Group Echuca Moama Sprint Triathlon
The Morley Auto Group Echuca Moama Triathlon will kick off at 6.00pm, with registration and race pack collection from 3.30pm at Hopwood Gardens. The event features the Andrew Peace Wines Swim – 700m downstream staggered start swim in the Murray River; The Ash Hall Cycles Ride – a 20km multi lap course through historic Echuca; and the Coolabah Turf Run – a 5km run along the river and through the heart of Echuca’s Port Precinct. Morrison’s Winery Wharf to Winery 3km Swim
Part of the Echuca Moama Multi Sports weekend, the Wharf to Winery Swim kicks off at 9.30am on Sunday 22nd January from the Onion Patch, southern end of Echuca Wharf. Swimmers will make the 3km swim to Morrison’s Winery in Moama. Registration and Race Pack collection are from Echuca Library from 8am. $500 prize for fastest Male and Female.
