Australia Day Events around Echuca Moama and District

Join in one of the many Australia Day events being held across the Campaspe Shire Council and Murray River Council 

Echuca Moama

Rotary Club of Echuca Moama will hold an event at the Port of Echuca Pop Up Park (Murray Esplanade) from 9am to 2pm. Australia Day video presentation broadcast on the big screen with a Sausage Sizzle. You can also watch online at www.emaustraliaday.com.au 

Mathoura

Mathoura's Australia Day event will commence at 8.00am with  a breakfast at Soldiers Memorial Park, followed by Australia Day address, presentations and citizenship ceremony. 

Kyabram

Rotary Club of Kyabram will hold Australia Day events from 8am to 10am at John Pilley Reserve in Lake Road. There will be a flag raising ceremony, BBQ breakfast, Guest Speaker, Presentation of awards and entertainment. 

Rochester 

Rochester Lions Club and Rochester Australia Day Committee will hold Australia Day events at the Rochester Lions Park from 7.30am. Events will include a BBQ breakfast, flag raising ceremony and presentation of awards. 

Gunbower 

Gunbower Angling Club will hold an Australia Day Community Breakfast at Gunbower Recreation Reserve from 7.30am to 9.00am. At 10.30am events will move to Gunbower Memorial Hall for a flag raising ceremony with guest speakers and morning tea. 

Lockington 

Lockington Lions Club will hold Australia Day events from 7.30am at Lions Park, Lockington. Events will include a community breakfast, flag raising ceremony and guest speaker. In the afternoon, activiites will move to the Lockington Channel in Singer Road for the Action Club of Lockington's Kids Fishing Competition which will run from 1.00pm to 3.00pm. 

Girgarre

Girgarre Community Group Inc will hold Australia Day events from 8.30am to 10.30am at the Girgarre Memorial Hall. There will be a flag raising ceremony, presentation of awards, music and BBQ breakfast. 

Rushworth 

Rushworth and District Australia Day Committee will hold an Australia Day event at Rushworth Village Green from 5.00pm. Events will include Sausage Sizzle, Presentation of Awards, address by local ambassador Neil Thomas

Tongala  

Tongala and District Australia Day Committee will hold an Australia Day event at Tongala Public Hall from 11am. Events will include Flag Raising Ceremony, Citezenship Ceremony, presentation of awards, sing a long and BBQ lunch Sausage Sizzle. 

Barham

Australia Day activiites will be held at Barham's Riverside Park from 7am for breakfast, with presentations and flag raising ceremony from 8am.

Koyuga

Koyuga Memorial Hall and Recreation Reserve Committee will hold Australia Day activities at the Koyuga Hall from 5.30pm with indoor and outdoor games, sausage sizzle, annual yabby races and flag raising ceremony. 

Kyvalley 

Kyvalley Swimming Club will hold Australia Day activities at the Kyvalley Community park from 12.15pm with BBQ lunch, community ceremony, entertainment and pool open to the public. 

Stanhope 

Stanhope Australia Day Committee will hold Australia Day activities from 9.30am at McEwan Place with a flag raising ceremony, entertainment, presentation of awards and morning tea. 

Wyuna

Wyuna Memorial Hall Committee will hold a community dinner and flag raising ceremony at Wyuna Memorial Hall from 6.30pm.

Moulamein

Moulamein's Australia Day activities will commence from 8am at The Triangle with breakfast, flag raising, presentations and address from Asutralia Day Ambassador Ron Delezio.

Wakool

Wakool's Australia Day activities will commence from 8am with breakfast followed by Australia Day ceremony at the Wakool Hall. 

Tooleybuc

Tooleybuc's Australia Day celebrations will commence at the Tooleybuc Sporting Club from 8.30am with breakfast, presentations and flag raising ceremony.
