Johnny & Lyle

There are three things that come to mind when we think of Johnny & Lyle – the lush garden courtyard, delicious brunch and amazing coffee! This popular café is always abuzz with breakfast and brunch-goers on weekends, and plenty of others grabbing a coffee to go. I mean, if you’re going to have to wait for a takeaway, there’s really no better place than the Johnny & Lyle courtyard! As one of our top-rated nominees, make sure you pop in and see what all the fuss is about.

Fuzion Cafe

This eclectic cafe is another icon when it comes to coffee - and breakfast! Fuzion is a local favourite when it comes to coffee and is located in the heart of town in a funky building. All dishes are made on site and they do a banger of a breakfast (the perfect coffee companion!) and cater to a range of dietary requirements. Nearly everything is available takeaway, so it is a great place to pop into for a meal on the run. They also create the most amazing grazing boxes and picnic boxes, which can be ordered online.

Forever Fresh European Cafe

One of the latest cafes to open in town, the Forever Fresh European Café serves up a coffee to rival Lygon Street’s best! Hot tip: make sure you complement your coffee with one of the delicious pastries on offer. We recommend the Portuguese Tarts – delicioso! Before you leave, wander through the market and pick up some fresh produce and tasty delights, which is an experience in itself.

The Nook on High

If you like to sip and shop, then The Nook on High should be your go to coffee spot. As well as making one of the best coffees in town, The Nook stocks a gorgeous range of gifts, gadgets and homewares. Grab your coffee to go and roam the store as you drink, or sit down in the window and watch the buzz of the High Street from your own quiet corner. The Odd Captain

There’s nothing odd about the coffee at The Odd Captain, located in the historic Port of Echuca precinct. The Odd Captain provides another one of our favourite courtyards to caffeinate in. It’s also a great spot to grab a takeaway before you run the kids ragged at the nearby Hopwood Gardens playground. Win win!

Latte Lane

In a hurry or just can’t be bothered getting out of the car for your coffee? Don’t worry - we got you! Latte Lane is Echuca’s premier drive through coffee spot, and also one of our most popular coffee haunts. Latte Lane serves coffee that will hit the spot, as well as a huge range of breakfast, lunch and snack items for those days when coffee alone just won’t cut it. Beep beep!

The Black Pudding

Got any blacker? That’s my go to phrase when ordering coffee, and let’s just say that The Black Pudding definitely knows its long blacks! It also knows its puddings, with a cake display that will make you feel like a kid in a candy store! With an enclosed courtyard overlooking the Campaspe River and a breakfast menu to die for, The Black Pudding is one not to miss on your next visit.

Murray River Tea Rooms

You will feel like that cat that got the cream when you order your next cappuccino from Murray River Tea Rooms. One of Moama’s best coffee spots, Murray River Tea Rooms is not only doing good for the coffee lovers, but also for the community. As a social enterprise, it raises money for Community Living & Respite Services Inc and provides work experience opportunities for people living with disabilities. And it’s not only about the coffee! One of the region’s best op shops is located within the Tea Rooms, so you can sip and shop for a greater good!
