Australian Open Darts Tournament, 29 July - 3 August, 2019 will be held at Moama’s premier venue, the Moama Bowling Club

The new tournament is open to amateurs as well as elite professional players and will attract some of the world’s best players and provide an amazing opportunity, for amateur dart players, to take on the world’s best.

Both men’s and women’s events will be held across the six days of competition as well as a number of exhibition and challenge matches to promote the game and showcase the exceptional talent participating in the event.

We expect record numbers of entries for the inaugural event which will be televised to audiences across Australia and New Zealand with players competing for a guaranteed prize pool of $50,000

The event, the richest darts tournament in the Asia Pacific region, is a knock-out event with the top players seeded. It will comprise four qualifying rounds, giving amateur players an opportunity to progress to the competition proper against the best players in the world.

The event is being held as part of a twelve day darts extravaganza that also includes the 40th Target Australian Darts Championships and the Pacific Masters Tournament which will both be held at the Rich River Golf Club in Moama between 4 August -11 August.
