Touring the Echuca Moama Region

The Echuca Moama region is jam-packed with unique and memorable country experiences. You'll stand on sites where history was made and you'll be delighted by small businesses offering you delicious produce, a comfy bed for the night, discover stunning sculptures, outback stock routes, historic goldfields, leafy bushland and relaxing river cruises.

By touring our region, you'll come to understand how people on the land care for it. From the original custodians, the Aboriginal tribes, over thousands of years to the early pioneering families.

The countryside is dotted with niche businesses offering you delicious delights, handmade and nurtured from paddock to plate and our beautiful local produce is also available from farmgates, orchards, cellar doors and local farmers markets.

The Echuca Moama region us surrounded in rich natural habitat from River Red Gum and Box forests to significant parks and wetlands abundant with native birds, animals, plants and trees. The region is home to some spectacular waterways, including the Murray, Edward, Campaspe and Goulburn Rivers, which provide popular water sports, camping and fishing locations.

The road network around the region ranges from major highway arterials to gravel bush tracks. Caravans are able to access most roads, however, care should be taken when using river tracks.

Northern Victoria Regional Touring Map

The road network in and around Echuca Moama ranges from major highway arterials to gravel bush tracks. Generally, roads are in good condition and are suitable for most vehicles. Caravans are able to access most roads, however care should be taken when using river tracks.

Caution should be shown by all vehicles when travelling as native wildlife and rogue farm animals can at times venture onto roadways.
