Echuca Moama Multisports Festival 

Echuca Moama Multisports Festival encompasses the Morley Auto Group Sprint Triathlon, Morrisons Wharf to Winery Swim, CLRS River Gums Fun and the

Junior Duathlon. The Multisports Festival takes place Friday 19th January to Sunday 21st January 2018.

Morley Auto Group Sprint Triathlon - Saturday 20 January 2018 - 6pm
Andrew Peace Wines Swim - 700m downstream swim with staggered wave starts in the mighty Murray River.
Ash Hall Cycles Ride - A 20km multi lap, athlete and spectator friendly course of fast flat roads through the main streets and outskirts of Echuca.
Coolabah Turf Run- 5km run along the river and through the heart of the Port of Echuca precinct.
Morley Auto Group Sprint Triathlon registration and race pack collection opens at 3:30pm in the middle gazebo at Hopwood Gardens, Echuca.
Transition will open at 3.30pm and close at 5.20pm.
Race briefing commences in the Hopwood Garden at 5.30p.m
The first swim wave will commence at approximately 6pm with subsequent waves following shortly thereafter. There is a short walk from the race briefing to the swim start.
Post race after party and presentations will be held at the American Hotel at approximately 9.30pm, please make your way to the American Hotel following the race. Prize money will be awarded to the first individual male and first individual female ($200.00 each) and to the first all male team, first all female team and first mixed team ($450.00 each team). Further presentations and raffle prizes will also be drawn at the American Hotel.

Morrisons Wharf to Winery 3km Swim - Sunday 21 January 2017 - 9.30am
Morrisons Wharf to Winery Swim 2017 registration and race pack collection opens at 8am at Hopwood Gardens.
The race pack includes a mesh bag, swim cap and samples. (The race kits subject to first 100 competitors to enter, all swimmers will receive a swim cap).
The Morrisons Wharf to Winery Swim will start off the Pride of the Murray Paddle Steamer at 9:30am.
Spectators, friends and family can jump on board a paddlesteamer to follow swimmers to Morrisons and return from Morrisons to the Port of Echuca. Paddle Steamer tickets can be purchased from the Wharf to Winery swim registration desk from 8am on race day. See our website for further details including times & ticket prices when available -
Prize money of $500.00 will be awarded to the fastest Open Male & Open Female swimmer of the Morrisons Wharf to Winery Swim.
CLRS River Gums Fun 3km & 5km Run - Friday 19 January 2018 - 6.30pm
Online registration and payment for the CLRS 5k Fun Run can be made through for $20.00 or you can enter on the day at the Cenotaph Scenic Drive for $25.00.
Race day check-in and registration will be from 5.30pm at the Cenotaph Scenic Drive off Crofton Street, Echuca
Run start time will be 6.30pm.
Two Drinks stations will be in place around the 5km course at approximately the 2 and 4 km marks along with a refreshment station at the completion of the run.


Junior Duathlon - Saturday 20 January 2018 – 9.00am - 7 years to 14 years
The Junior Duathlon will commence at 9am on Saturday 20th January 2018 at park area adjacent to the Memorial Arch, Scenic Drive, Echuca.
The event will start from this park. It is an open road event through Scenic Drive and will consist of gravel road ride and gravel path run. All competitors must obey road rules whilst on the bike course.
– 7-10 years: 400m run, 2km bike and 400m run – $20.00.
– 11-14 years: 800m run, 5km bike and 800m run – $20.00.
The run will leave the park area and run along the track to the left of the Scenic Drive roadway to a point behind the Echuca Lawn Tennis Courts on an out and back course.
The ride will take place around Scenic Drive and again make use of the track behind the tennis courts to the left of Scenic Drive to avoid any traffic on the sharp turn behind the caravan park returning to the transition area, then returning on the same run leg as described above.
The 7-10 year old’s will complete a shorter version of this course but on the same routes with the cycle taking place behind the cenotaph monument connecting with the bitumen to a point at the end of the bitumen leading onto the Scenic drive for a turn around and back to the transition area.
Online registration and payment can be made through or you can enter on the day at the Vic Park Boat Ramp.
Race day check in opens at 8am at the park area adjacent to the Memorial Arch, Scenic Drive, Echuca.
Race briefing will commence at approximately 8.45am and the first run group will start at approximately 9.00am.
A parent or guardian is required to be present with any child participating in this event.
The cycle includes portions of gravel road, therefore road bikes are not permissible. Mountain, BMX or hybrid bikes are recommended.
Children should have their own water bottle and appropriate attire including sunscreen and a hat for the run as the weather may be quite hot.
