Sydney Melbourne Touring Route
Sydney Melbourne Touring Route Marketing Campaign has been created to promote select tourism destinations and their respective product and attractions to international markets.
SMT is funded by participating regional tourism authorities, Tourism Victoria and Tourism NSW.
EMT has recently committed funding to this campaign as a component of the new marketing plan.
The SMT campaign will see Echuca Moama represented in the following markets:
*Europe
*UK
*North America
*New Zealand
*ATE Adelaide
*General domestic opportunities
To assist EMT Members to understand exactly what SMT is and the many unique and exciting marketing opportunities that now come with this partnership we have now arranged for their CEO and Marketing team to hold a seminar in Echuca Moama .
This seminar is available to EMT Members only and the seminar details are as follows:
Moama Bowling Club
Wednesday 18th November 2009
2.30-4.30pm
Afternoon tea will be provided
Cost: $Free to all EMT Members

If you have any interest in becoming involved in this $500,000.00 marketing campaign and have any interest in exploring international markets (in particular New Zealand and greater domestic) you really need to attend this seminar!
Attractions Expo
The Echuca-Moama & District Attractions Association will be holding an Expo.
The purpose of this event is to highlight the regions many attractions to give you a better understanding of the many great things your guests can do during their visit.
Send your front desk staff as well, as it is a great opportunity for them to catch up and brush up on available product all under one roof in time for the Christmas break!
The expo will take place as follows:
6pm - 8pm- Shire of Campaspe Function Room
18th November 2009

Food & Wine Group
The next Food & Wine Group Meeting will be held this Wednesday 18th November at the Echuca Workers & Services Club at 9.30am.
The meetings focus will be around the 2010 Riverboats Jazz Food & Wine Festival.

Sunday 22 November:
2.30pm visit Murray Esplanade Cellars
3.00pm depart by bus for wine tastings to the following vineyards:

Jaengenya Wines
Carriages
Cape Horn
BBQ @ Cape Horn
Return to Echuca around 9-9.30pm
COST: $5 per person for the bus
