Events Kicking Goals
EMT is very pleased to announce that their events division is now paying off in more ways than one.
Today we can confirm that Tourism Victoria has agreed to more than double its investment in the Echuca Moama region for events and festivals.
Following a comprehensive submission Tourism Victoria has significantly increased its partnership with Steam Rally, Riverboats Jazz Food & Wine Festival, Celtic Festival and Winter Blues Festival. Furthermore we are also delighted to advise that Southern 80 will also be a beneficiary.
This is a fantastic outcome for the region and represents a six figure investment into the on-going development of events and festivals in our region.
Melbourne Food & Wine Festival 2011
Again we have lodged a submission for us to be able to hold a festival here in March 2011 under the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival regional umbrella program.
The proposed festival submitted is even bigger and better than last year’s inaugural event.
We are confident of success and will advise accordingly.
Wedding Expo
EMT and the Wedding Expo group have partnered up to represent the region with a stand at the August show, 21st and 22nd at the Melbourne Exhibition Building.
