Last Sunday saw a great feature on Echuca which was as a result of the recent three day media famil.
This opportunity was a joint program brought to you by EMT and Tourism Victoria media department.

AGE Feature Article

We have just signed off on a 2,000 word feature article which will soon feature in the AGE Weekend magazine. The release date will be advised shortly.

RJFW Festival

February 1st will see a new Television campaign commence in regional Victoria and a radio campaign commencing on 3AW in Melbourne metro. This will drive consumers to the festival and of course encourage them to ‘stay a little longer.'

V/Line & Echuca Promotion

V/Line have created a fantastic 10 page promotional booklet to sell packages to consumers to attend the RJFW Festival in March. A great opportunity which will see a direct mail out to over 130,000 select households in Melbourne metro.

V/Line & Echuca Southern Cross Station Promotion

Thursday 28th January saw a big destinational promotion take place in the heart of Southern Cross Station in Melbourne. Complete with EMT and V Line staff and a great Jazz Band our EMagine display made for a big splash for Echuca-Moama. Literally thousands of people were treated to quite a spectacle!

Orchestra Victoria

Wednesday saw a very productive meeting in Echuca between EMT and Orchestra Victoria to plan the upcoming performance which will be held at 7pm Wednesday 3rd March in Echuca.

EMT Workshops

EMT will be holding two great workshop opportunities and only for EMT Members as follows:
International Marketing-Monday 1st February
Pricing & Packaging-Tuesday 2nd February
This is a great opportunity for you to advance your knowledge, the  workshops have been heavily subsidised by the Murray Campaign to the tune of $40,000.00.

CARnival Motorsport Festival
1st - 4th October 2010

The official media launch for this fantastic event will now take place on Thursday 11th February, the day before the Southern 80 Event commences.
This will be a formal event with Ministers and some famous legends of Australian motorsport attending .There might even be a few  pieces of awesome metal taking part for you to salivate over.
Details including a time and place will be advised in due course.

Melbourne Wedding Expo

EMT had a stand at the recent Bridal Expo in Melbourne at the exhibition buildings
A very busy weekend with many people planning on tieing the knot in Echuca-Moama.
A very worthwhile initiative and one that we will be repeating in order to continue building and developing this very important aspect of our regions overall tourism mix.

Camping & Caravan Shows

EMT has now committed to participate in the Adelaide and Melbourne Caravan & Camping shows.
First comes Adelaide which will see EMT staff making the long trek to Adelaide from the 23rd-25th February.The Melbourne show follows on the 9th of March so not much time to take a breath!

The ‘Boys from Bunnaloo’ well what to say, these guys have taken the town by storm and pumping out some of the best Local Produce we in the district have seen in a while. Pork Pies, Sausages and so much more, using a pleasurable & gentle way of producing gourmet food with an emphasis on quality using only locally grown produce with all natural ingredients. Check them out at the Local Echuca Farmers Market held on the 1st, 3rd & 5th Saturday of each month.
