Major Food, Wine and Produce Campaign & Advertising Opportunity

Echuca Moama Tourism is concentrating on promoting local food, wine and produce over the coming months which will consist of two major executions:

1.    Cellar Door Farm Gate - EMT will be attending this consumer show in Melbourne between 3 - 4  March where we will engage with a potential 7,000 people.

We would like to offer patrons attending the show a booklet comprising promotional offers and discounts across a range of food and wine products in the Echuca Moama region. These booklets will be distributed free of charge throughout the duration of the show.

2.    We will be rolling out a major destination campaign in March that will showcase our food and wine product. This will actively target 25 - 54 audience and include television, radio and print into metro Melbourne areas.

We will be driving traffic to the Visitor Information Centre where we will advise visitors that they can collect a booklet of discounts vouchers within the region over a set period of time.

The objective of both executions is to attract visitors and ultimately;

1. Raise the profile of Echuca Moama as a leading food and wine destination
2. Showcase food, wine and produce offerings
3. Encourage repeat visitation to the area

Southern 80

The 2012 Club Marine Southern 80 is on 10 -12 February starting with ‘Breakfast with the Stars’ at the Kerribee sound shell in Moama on Friday Morning. On Saturday morning, the massive crowd will gather around the amazing boats on display in Hare st Echuca from 9.00am.

The racing action across the weekend is all at Vic Park Boat Ramp where you can watch the competitors as they complete the race.
You will also find a huge range of trade sites, entertainment for the kids and a Moto X Freestyle demonstration featuring Jackson Strong, Cam Sinclair, and Blake Williams (Bilko) which will be occurring several times each day over the weekend.

Riverboats Music Festival 2012

With a little over a fortnight to go until the inaugural Riverboats Music Festival, we have been absolutely overwhelmed by the response from music fans across the country to Echuca-Moama's newest event, many of which are heading to the region for the very first time.

From Friday, Feb 17 to Sunday, Feb 19 over 60 legendary Australian artists including Mark Seymour, Tex Perkins, Colin Hay, The Bamboos, Vika & Linda, The Audreys, Lanie Lane and Mick Thomas will perform in the beautiful natural surrounds of Aquatic Reserve. Display Space Available at the Visitor Information Centre

The display space is a circular area of 9.34 square meters (diameter 3.45 meters) and is located at the front of the Visitor Information Centre with full exposure to the average 100,000 visitors who walk in the door annually.

The display space can be booked for your exclusive use on a monthly basis (subject to availability).

The display can consist of anything from products to pull up display banners and is only limited by the size of the space and some weight considerations.

EMT is attending the Australian Bridal Exhibition next weekend at the Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne. This is a worthwhile initiative and one that we will be repeating in order to continue building and developing this very important market.

Caravan and Camping Shows

Due to the success of the past Consumer Show Program EMT have partnered up with the Murray Board and will attend a number of key consumer shows. These include the hallmark caravan and camping shows in Victoria, South Australia, New South Wales and the New Zealand Agricultural Fieldays.
