The world’s biggest water ski race, the Club Marine Southern 80 draws over 80,000 people to the region as well as 2,000 competitors every February. Also in February the Riverboats Music Festival attracts Australia’s most prolific artists to perform outdoor amongst the gums to visitors from all over the country. Melbourne Cup Day at Echuca Races

Celebrate the race that stops a nation on Moama Bowling Club Melbourne Cup Day at the Echuca Races. Join the party with over 5,000 revellers enjoying country hospitably and a great day out. In addition to the excitement of live thoroughbred racing at Echuca, the day offers Fashions on the Field, live music, kids’ activities with the Melbourne Cup shown live on the big screens at 3pm. Southern 80 Ski Race

10th, 11th, 12th February 2017

The summer fun continues with the annual Southern 80, the biggest ski race in the world! One of Australia’s largest regional events, this gruelling 80km ski race, following over 120 bends along the mighty Murray River starts at Torrumbarry and finishes in Echuca Moama. Experience an Australian icon. Held on the 2nd Sunday in February each year.

Celebrating it's 11th year, this great ski race, "The Barrie Beehag" sees teams race from the start and finish point Deep Creek Marina, Perricoota to Torrumbarry and back. 

A great family day out and watch the excitement of the adrenalin fuelled ski-racing on the Murray Murray River.

Starting at 10am, there's fun to be had by all.
